As an organization that changes lives every day, the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN holds a special place in BARNCO owner and Challenge for Children’s (C4C) founder, Matt Ames’ heart. Living with a congenital heart defect, Matt has been treated at Children’s Hospitals since birth and still gets his care there today.

With his personal mission to live his life through meaningful experiences that create lasting memories, and his love for paintball, Matt founded C4C as a way to bring people together to create memories of their own while giving back to an organization that gives so much to others.

With giving back top of mind, in 2013 C4C committed to donate $250,000 by 2017 to Children’s to help build a state-of-the-art Simulation Center. Since then, C4C has become the largest third party event benefiting the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN and the largest charity paintball game in the Midwest.

In our efforts to continue to make meaningful contributions to Children’s , and to create more memories while doing so, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Ever since its foundation, Challenge for Children’s has given out over $500,000 to children’s hospitals and clinics in Minnesota. We are proud to be able to give back to the community!
